Everyday a life is taken
A heart is broken
A soul is shattered
And someone is cheated 

Why does this happen?
Why do we all suffer?
Why do we all cry?
Why do we run away?
Everything hurts so badly 

But today I realize, I am a victim
I’ve been lied to
I’ve been cheated
And yes, my heart has been broken
But I won’t cry or run

I’m gonna smile
It covers my pain
And it cheers me up
