Love Her, She’s a Gift

Do you see what you’re doing?

Can’t you see how much pain she is going through?

Or do you just see through her scars and wounds?

Why can’t you see what you have done?

Why can’t you stop and think?

Why do you forget?

She is giving us shelter and protection

We have to learn to respect her and face the truth

We might never see her again

We just need to understand,

You don’t need to be dependent

Its you who can make a change

She’s a gift so take care of her

Don’t hurt her or tear her apart

She’s taken bullets and bombs

Yet we still have no respect

She holds so much peace and love

But it’s all covered,

With every single tear that has been shed

So just stop and listen

Do not just walk away

May you soon realize?

But then it’ll be too late

This might happen in the future

Why don’t you accept her and just let it out

You know it’s true,

So say it

You love her

You know she is a gift

But that’s not what other think

You want to be like them?

So you hurt her no matter how much it hurts you

Now nothing matters so say it out loud

She’s a gift and you promise to keep her

Healthy and Beautiful

Full of dreams and hope

No more wound or scars

Just peace, love, and life
